Entry Fees: 10% of 1st place premium (including stockholders).

Entries Due: Non-perishable entries accepted 9am - 5 PM Saturday, August 11, 2007.
Judging of non-perishable entries begins at 1 PM, Sunday 12, 2007.

Perishables only may be entered before 10:00 AM Monday, August 13, 2007.
Judging of perishables begins at 10:30 AM Monday, August 13, 2007.

Entries will be released between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 19, 2007.

Rules:

  1. Competition in this department is open to all.
  2. Entries must be entirely the work of the exhibitor and must have been completed in the past two (2) years.
  3. No imported work or work of professional needle workers will be accepted in this department.
  4. Previously entered items will not be accepted.
  5. Each item may be entered in one category only.
  6. All items judged on appearance, neatness, suitability of design and material for purpose intended.
  7. Unless stated, originality is not required.
  8. For original recipes and/or designs, please mark this information on your entry to assist in judging.
  9. Mail  Entry Form to Wayne County Fair early to help avoid confusion.
  10. Professionals in photography, woodworking, quilting and ceramics must enter only in their respective classes.
  11. Youth, age 17 and under, are urged to enter their work in the appropriate Youth Division.
  12. The best of the “Best of Fair,” to be selected by judges and superintendents, will be eligible for State Fair competition. Only one (1), the State Fair Representative, will go to State Fair.
  13. State Fair Representative receives a rosette and a monetary gift.
  14. Please double check your entry information. Mislabeled entry classifications will not be changed and may lead to disqualification. Entrant’s name should not be visible on any entries. Please remember only perishables can be entered on Monday.
  15. Doors to Domestic Department will not open on Monday until all items have been judged and put in place.
  16. Please only two (2) items per class.
  17. Please present Exhibitor Entry Ticket Stub to pick up items.
  18. Premiums for this show will be available in the Secretary’s office Thursday morning .
